Let’s just get on with it.

I don’t want to leave the Bay. But I feel that I should, must, and have to.
I abhor monotony, but value familiarity. I’m at a point in life where I’m disenfranchised with my age and social status. I want college to be over. Done with. Completed. Degree and all.
I just want to get to work on whatever I’ll be called to do after college, and look towards building lifelong friendships and falling in love.
I don’t want to stop going to Cornerstone, let alone stop serving within it.
I don’t want to pack up my things and leave everything and everyone I’ve ever known. And it scares me to death that if I return one day, there won’t be any familiar faces; the faces that I’ve met in the last few years and months especially…

Some things have to be taken on faith.

Given all the whininess above, rest assured, I will be taking that leap, whether I “really” want to or not.

So let’s get on with it already. I’ve got my blindfold, but no cigarette.

This has been a late-night inarticulate rant. I think I’ll sleep better now.

it’ll be over before you know it, and don’t worry about the familiar faces: the important things are timeless. He is with you!

Hey bro… you’re not wanting to leave, and I am sorry to see you leave this fall. But I also think that it’s for your best. You’re going to grow a ton dude and i’m excited to see what God does in you and through in the coming years! It’s been awesome having you here (even though I haven’t seen you in the past 2 1/2 months), and you’ll always be welcome when you come back to visit.

I’m looking forward to our road trip to SoCal…

    peace,
    Luis
